The New
13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display, recently released by Apple, offers new features that surpass its previous models.
Retouch your photos or edit
your home movies in HD with outstanding clarity with the new 13-inch MacBook
Pro’s Retina display. It has a spectacular 2560×1600 resolution and displays
over four million pixels. IP technology delivers wide 178-degree view of
everything on the screen. It also features Intel Graphics 6100 to handle both
everyday tasks and graphics-intensive creative apps.
The Force Touch trackpad, a
feature available in the new 13-inch MacBook Pro, provides Multi-Touch
capabilities. It adds force sensors that detect subtle differences in the
amount of downward pressure applied. You can use realistic gestures like
swiping or pinching to switch between apps and navigate your content.
The new 13-inch MacBook Pro
is powered by fifth generation dual-core Intel Core i5 (upgradeable to Intel
Core i7). Each 13-inch model boasts Hyper-Threading technology, has speeds up
to 3.1GHz, shared L3 cache of up to 4MB and Turbo Boost speeds of up to 3.4GHz.
It also features flash storage that’s 2x faster than the previous models.
Starting it is super fast; apps launch quickly; and navigating the desktop
feels fluid and responsive.
It lasts up to 10 hours
between charges, an hour longer than the previous model. Its built-in battery
provides up to 1000 full charge and discharge cycles.
It is also equipped with
802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology that allows you to stay
connected. You can connect your MacBook Pro to a network or other wireless
peripherals and share your videos, photos, documents and other files.
Each new 13-inch MacBook
Pro has two Thunderbolt 2 ports, two USB 3 ports, an HDMI port, an SDXC card
slot and a headphone port.
The new 13-inch MacBook Pro
has a very thin and light design but offers excellent sound quality with its
stereo speakers. Its dual built-in microphones deliver reduced background
noise. It also has a built-in sensor that detects changes in ambient light and
adjusts the backlit keyboard and display’s brightness automatically.
This new MacBook Pro runs
OS X Yosemite which makes it intuitive and easy to use, along with other
built-in apps such as iPhoto, iMovie, iCloud, Safari and many more.
