Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+

 Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+

SAMSUNG has finally unveiled the Galaxy S9 and S9+ held on February 25, 2018 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC). The new flagship duo phones support Google’s Project Treble for fast Android updates while sporting Snapdragon 845/Exynos 9810 chip and running the latest Android 8.0 OS, Oreo.

Packed with the latest features, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ are still very much like last year’s S8. One of the biggest noticeable change on these phones is that the fingerprint scanner has been moved a little bit below the camera. The Galaxy S9 has a 5.8-inch display and whooping 6.9-inch display for the S9+. The QHD+ Super AMOLED curved displays are near bezel-less, full-frontal glass, and edge-to-edge.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ Cameras

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ now boasts Dual Aperture lens that adapts like the human eye. Both S9 and S9+ have 8 megapixel front camera with f/1.7 aperture. The S9 has a single 12 megapixel rear camera with mechanical variable aperture of both f/1.5 and f/2.4. The S9+, on the other hand, features 12 megapixel dual cameras - a wide-angle camera with f/1.5 and f/2.4 aperture, plus a telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture. This new feature will allow the camera lens to automatically switch between various lighting conditions with ease, making it easier for you to capture images in bright and low light settings. You can also shoot at an incredible speed of 960 frames per second and play your videos in super slow-mo mode.

Joining the emoji craze, Samsung also introduced the AR Emoji where users can create an augmented reality of themselves by simply taking a selfie.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ offer a 4GB/6GB RAM in 64GB/256GB storage with an expandable microSD slot up to 400GB. Both models also have 2 surround sound stereo speakers tuned by AKG. What’s more to love is that Samsung’s latest flagship phone still sports a USB-C, 3.5mm headphone jack in 2018.
